ABOUT

I'm a freelance photographer based in London and Cheshire. For as long as I can remember I've loved taking pictures and poring through old photo albums. After a lot of peer-pressure encouraging me to take it seriously, I started being more proactive, and made calendars of my 'Reflection Photography' for 2020 & 2021, both of which sold out. I recently won the Clare College Cambridge and Leadenhall Market photography competitions and am thrilled that the latter has been displayed in the City of London market.

As a singer myself, I understand how important it is for performers to get their 'true' selves across in their publicity, and pride myself on helping people achieve this easily when they're in front of the camera - many of my clients say this is not their comfort zone! I love working in the industry from this side, and working collaboratively with musicians in a different creative capacity.

I have worked with performers such as Jennifer Johnston, Roderick Williams, Benjamin Hulett, City of London Sinfonia and I Fagiolini. I have worked as 'official photographer' at various festivals, including Southwell Music Festival and the North Cornwall Book Festival. My photographs have been featured in The Times, The Guardian, BBC Music and Liverpool FC Magazines.

Education:

I studied Music at the University of York, graduating with a First Class Honours degree, and since then have worked as a freelance singer, whilst also developing my skills in photography. My photography is mostly self-taught, though I am also indebted to Nick Rutter and SkillShare for their extensive help and advice!
